It's really interesting to see a famously beautiful woman photographed in the same portraiture style as your homeless subjects. The starkness of your style is especially striking with such a subject. Her aging beauty (and spirit) come through, yet the rawness of your style has a levelling effect that stresses the commonality of people regardless of their social stature. All potential for artificiality and all illusions of glamor are blasted away by your lens. And all that's left is genuine and real.
She is breathtakingly stunning. I'll have to find out more about her.
(I've taken some time to read about Carré - what an incredible person. Out of all the photos I came across, I prefer yours over each and every one.)
Beautiful portrait : 'Le coeur n'a jamais de rides. Il n'a que des cicatrices.' Heart doesn't have any wrinkles, just some scars' Francis Carco and Madame de Sevigne...

Perhaps befitting that Carre would grace your stream amidst the others you capture. She's had her own sad tale of self abuse. Just in her case, she is a former Lost Soul.
I hear that she's overcome that period in her life to which many become forever lost. Perhaps an inspiring notion that it's possible to escape, find one's way out... just be.
(A beautiful image, by the way)
